What follows — if you want it
After handover to the carrier, the following steps run on their own. You switch each one on separately, and none of them requires access to your accounting.
Email to the customer
Shipping confirmation with tracking number, in the correct language for the market.
Invoice
Issued and sent the moment the shipment is handed over — if you switch it on.
Notifications
To your phone or company chat: what was shipped and what got stuck.
Write-back
The shipment status and package number will be returned to your system via API or apieasy.
What you need
Order source
API, e-shop or ERP. We only read orders; at most we write back the status and shipment number — if you switch it on.
A Raspberry Pi and a printer
You buy the device yourself; our software installs and updates itself. Label printers and regular A4 printers, USB or network. Printing and scanning never go through the cloud.
Carrier account
Labels are created under your contract and at your rates. We just look after the connection.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to give you access to our accounting or bank?
No. Fulfilment works with data from your API or e-shop. You switch on the accounting layer and payments when it makes sense — they are separate applications.
Which carriers can menegio handle?
PPL, DPD, GLS and Geis, including their international services, plus pallet freight, your own delivery, couriers and in-person collection. More are added on request.
What happens when the carrier isn't responding?
The shipment is never created blindly: the app checks with the carrier and only changes the status once the label actually exists.
How long does deployment take?
It mainly depends on how quickly the connection to the order source and the carrier account can be arranged. You'll get a realistic estimate after the first demo using your data.
