Data, identity and AI
One directory of companies and people for the whole platform.
Companies, individuals and their relationships exist in the platform only once. Other applications and e-shops mirror the directory instead of each keeping its own copy of contacts, which drifts apart from the others after a year.
What the directory holds
Companies and people
The customer, its branches and the people who act on its behalf. Relationships are part of the record, not a note.
One source for applications
The quote, the document, the e-shop and the helpdesk all talk about the same customer, because they don't copy it themselves.
Verified data
Billing data is filled in from registers based on the company ID, not from whatever someone copied from an email.
What this solves in practice
No more three versions of the same customer
One company is one record, even if it shops at two e-shops.
Change of address once
When a customer moves, it's reflected everywhere the directory is used.
Permissions by area
Who may view contacts and who may change them is configured the same way as everywhere else in the platform.
Traceable history
The record shows who changed it and when, and where the data came from.
What you need
Existing contacts
Export from the e-shop, ERP or a spreadsheet. The directory is populated from these.
Decision on the source of truth
Which side decides when the data differs. Without this, duplicates keep coming back.
Nothing else
The directory is part of the platform, not another system to buy.
Frequently asked questions
Is it a CRM?
It isn't, it's a layer underneath it. The directory holds who is who; the view of the customer and their history is built on top of it by the platform's CRM part.
What happens to duplicates during import?
They won't be merged blindly. Duplicate candidates are offered up for a decision, because merging two companies is easier than splitting them back apart.
Does everyone have to work in the directory?
No. Most people never open it — it's used by the applications they work in.

We'll show how many duplicates they currently contain and what a single shared directory would look like.
